Designer : Pierre Péron
Pierre Péron, born October 5, 1905 in Brest and died in the same city on March 27, 1988, is a French illustrator, graphic designer, caricaturist, painter, engraver, decorator, sculptor, filmmaker and writer.
He left a rich, felt and alert work. His vitality, his creative passion led him to use the most diverse means to transcribe what was recorded by an eye constantly alert, available, active and generous. He tested his art and his vision in the most diverse fields. In addition to canvases, gouaches, maps, drawings, scratch cards, linoleum and engraved wood... He has never ceased to leave the classical fields of art to produce works with greater distribution. The list would be long to draw up, because to be completely exhaustive, it would be necessary to detail his productions for the press: caricatures, comic strips, the first pages of the "Telegram", his cinematographic production, his mural frescoes, the first of which date from 1932, with the four large paintings in the ARMOR Cinema hall executed on the theme of the sea; his tapestries for Joan of Arc, his scarves for Maison LE MINOR in Pont-l'Abbé and above all his lasting collaboration with Maison HERMÈS... his KELT jewelry... his design of several medals... He even made drawings of raffle tickets and postage stamps!
